Logline: An aimless young man dons the supernatural guise of the Blue Devil to stop the Bookswoman, a foe in pursuit of destroying and erasing Trinbagonian culture. But will he lose himself in his power, or rise up to his destiny as a hero?

Marc Williams – Mid 20s – Early 30s (Male)
Tall with a built frame. A strong-willed but unsure young man in pursuit of purpose; Juggling the loss of contact with his father at a young age with the responsibility of being the blue devil hero, he is on a mission to save Trinidad and Tobago from the Bookman, but also to figure out his identity as a man.
Natasha Williams – Mid 20s – Early 30s (Female)
Marc’s sister. Aspiring History Professor. Compact and fierce. Outspoken; Layered to reveal a soft heart. Suffering from the trauma of her parents’ history and dynamic, she holds Marc close to her chest as her last left family member.
Anthony Williams – 50s + (Male)
Marc and Natasha’s Father. Seasoned, tired eyes; has seen many things in his life; The good, bad and the ugly. Rugged. A veteran artist. A veteran blue devil. Wracked with guilt for the sins of his past, he lives in desperation to repair his relationship with his children. He reconnects with his son by training him for the final battle.
The Bookwoman – 30s – 40s (Female)
Main Antagonist. Slithering, smooth walk. Businesswoman. Rich. Woman of lavish tastes. Little horns on her head. Seeks her book which captures souls for hell. She plans to suck the culture dry of its luster and thus, its potential to incite hope and identity into the people of Trinidad and Tobago..
Young Marc Williams – 5 – 9 (Male)
Starry-eyed little boy. Naive. Looks up to his father as a hero.
Young Natasha Williams – 5 – 9 (Female)
Innocent look, big eyes. Intuitive, passionate. Scarred as she sees her father slap her mother.
Della Williams – Late 20s – Mid 30s (Female)
Beautiful, but a strained face. A woman of arts and culture who lost her spark because of her tumultuous relationship with her husband. She never came to terms with her husband constantly putting himself, and their family in danger. Died of stress at a young age.
Younger Anthony Williams – Late 20s – Mid 30s (Male)
A zealous advocate for preserving the culture of Trinidad and Tobago through art and folklore. Balances family life and crime-fighting responsibilities as Blue devil. Harms his wife as he dives deeper into his devil persona.

- News Reporter: Female, 30-40.Prim and Proper.
- Maxi Driver: Male, 30-40 something. A lemme-mind-my–business type of man.
- Bandit 1: M/F 20-30.Seasoned criminal. Not up for Bandit 2’s nonsense.
- Bandit 2: M/F 20-30. A little ‘duncy’. The pinky to Bandit 1’s brain.
- Thief 1: 20-30, Bookman’s ‘imp’. Intimidating aura. In all black. Ninja-type mask.
- Thief 2: 20-30, Bookman’s ‘imp’. One-dimensionally religious. Victim of conspiracy theories. In all black. Ninja-type mask.
- Thief 3: 20-30, Bookman’s ‘imp’. Intimidating aura. No lines.
- Thief 4: M/F 20-30, Bookman’s ‘imp’. Intimidating aura. No lines.

Additional Information: This is a self-funded student project created as part of an academic requirement. While they are unable to offer financial compensation, we hope this casting call is received as a meaningful opportunity—for established actors to give back by supporting the next generation of film makers, and for new and emerging talent to gain valuable experience, exposure, and build their portfolios.
