Overview:

The National Drama Association of Trinidad and Tobago (NDATT) is inviting creative, committed, and forward-thinking individuals to join their Public Relations Committee — a volunteer team responsible for shaping NDATT’s public voice, visual identity, and cultural impact through their media platforms, publications, and campaigns.

Members work together on projects such as:

  • On Cue Magazine – NDATT’s official arts publication
  • Digital campaigns and social media management
  • Press and media relations
  • Content creation for NDATT platforms and partner initiatives

Available Roles:

Committee members may serve in one or more of the following roles, depending on their interests and suitability.

Content Lead

Job Summary:
Oversees social media content and editorial direction for On Cue magazine and NDATT publications, maintaining content standards.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee content creation from ideation to execution.
  • Plan and assign articles, features, and spotlights.
  • Edit and fact-check submissions.
  • Work with designers on layout and publication..

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in English/Communications or equivalent experience.
  • Writing and editing skills.
  • Interest in the arts and culture.
  • Attention to detail.
Social Media & Digital Strategist

Job Summary:
Drafts, implements, and monitors strategies and campaigns, managing NDATT’s online presence.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and schedule social media calendars.
  • Track analytics and adjust content for engagement.
  • Respond to comments and build digital community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Background in content creation (asset).
  • Interest in digital marketing.
  • Creativity and responsiveness.
Content Writer

Job Summary:
Develops written content for articles, press releases, and campaigns.

Key Duties:

  • Draft articles, press releases, newsletters, and statements.
  • Create captions, taglines, and promotional copy.
  • Proofread communications before release.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong writing and grammar skills.
  • Creativity in messaging
Graphic Designer

Job Summary:
Creates visual designs for campaigns, On Cue, and NDATT branding.

Key Duties:

  • Design flyers, posts, and promotional graphics.
  • Layout magazine and reports for publication.
  • Maintain visual brand consistency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar).
  • Creativity in visual storytelling.
Video & Multimedia Producer

Job Summary:
Produces video and multimedia content to support NDATT campaigns, projects, and archives.

Key Duties:

  • Film and edit short videos for social media and the website.
  • Edit longer-form videos (asset).
  • Collaborate with team members for cohesive campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Access to a camera or smartphone with a good-quality (4K) camera.
  • Familiarity with video editing software.
  • Comfort with filming and creative media.
Photographer

Job Summary:
Captures photos at NDATT and NDATT-assisted events, maintaining NDATT’s visual history through photography

Key Duties:

  • Photograph NDATT and NDATT-assisted events, workshops, and productions.
  • Maintain an organized photo archive.
  • Provide visuals for campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Access to a camera or smartphone with a good-quality camera.
  • Interest in photography and archiving.
Communications Intern

Job Summary:
Supports committee members with research, content creation, content curation, and related tasks.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct background research for articles and campaigns.
  • Assist with drafting content and scheduling.
  • Provide innovative ideas and support execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eager to learn.
  • Interest in arts administration, media, and communication.
