Description: Looking for a fun and meaningful way for your child to explore their creativity this August Vacation? Whether they’re a natural storyteller, a born performer, creatively inclined, or a quiet, curious mind with a love for movies, the Believe Youth Film Camp offers an ideal opportunity to develop content creation skills in a safe, supportive environment. The camp is available in person for Cycles 1–3 and online for Cycle 4.

Over the course of five exciting days per cycle, participants will gain hands-on experience and learn how movies are really made. There are four weekly cycles to choose from, which can be attended individually or combined. Each cycle focuses on a different stage of the film production process—such as scriptwriting—while exploring the key roles and tools used at that stage.

For those interested in pursuing filmmaking as a career, the camp also provides valuable guidance on turning that passion into a profession, both locally in Trinidad & Tobago and abroad.

Camp Director: Leanda Taitt

Leanda Taitt is an award-winning Poet, Writer, Media Professional and Entrepreneur. Her career experiences have taken her from Game Day video production on the floor of Madison Square Garden to Film production on location in the heights of the Empire State Building.

Leanda fell in love with Production as a teenager and later studied TV/Film in New York at St. John’s University. She is now the Managing Director of Believe Productions Limited – a Media company that specializes in Godly Media for the TV, Film, Print and Video Games Industries.

She believes that Media consumption shapes economic power and is generationally transformational. Her passion is to utilize Media to help people walk into their greatness. Her most important belief is that regardless of your starting point, when you truly begin to understand the value of your life and the power in your hands, you will begin to treat yourselves, your dreams and others with the patience, kindness, care and respect we all deserve.
