Title: Spoilt Meat for Harden Man
Genre: Dark comedy
Logline: On an afternoon following their 30th anniversary trip, a fiery Trinidadian couple finds their kitchen – and their marriage – boiling over when a spoiled chicken becomes the battleground for decades of resentment, love, and buried secrets.
Character Breakdown:
SABIR: Female, early 50s – 65+ y/o, any ethnicity. A sharp-tongued, pragmatic, and spirited wife with a strong sense of duty and love for her family. She is quick-witted, resourceful, and never afraid to speak her mind…even when dealing with her stubborn husband.
CEDRIC: Male, early 50s – 65+, any ethnicity. Sabir’s opinionated and proudly traditional husband. A man clinging to control and pride, even as the world and his body rebels against him. Stubborn, humorous, occasionally childish, but ultimately filled with love.
