Description: Performance Town is a vibrant, three-week performing arts camp for youth ages 8–15, blending acting, dance, music – and this year, cultural heritage. In 2025, campers will journey into the heart of Trinidadian tradition as they explore iconic mas characters through workshops, storytelling, and arts & craft, culminating in an original stage production: The Mas in Me.

Led by a passionate creative team, Performance Town fosters creativity, collaboration, and self-expression in a fun, inclusive environment. The program features daily classes, improvisation games, themed Fridays, and interactive prop-making. Campers audition, rehearse, and perform, building confidence and artistic skills while celebrating identity, tradition, and the transformative power of performance.

Performance Town is where young talent meets culture, imagination, and joyful discovery.

Camp Director: Levee Rodriguez

Levee Rodriguez is a seasoned theatre educator, playwright, and director with extensive experience working with children and teens in both academic and professional settings. Currently serving as Interim Drama Coordinator at the Tobago Performing Arts Company, Levee designs actor training programs rooted in culture, creativity, and Caribbean storytelling.

He brings a proven track record of nurturing young talent, managing large ensembles, and staging impactful, age-appropriate productions. His leadership style is both supportive and inspiring, ensuring that every camper feels seen, encouraged, and creatively challenged. With a deep passion for the arts and a commitment to excellence, Levee makes Performance Town a safe, enriching, and unforgettable experience for your child.


Camp Director: Renee King

Renee King is an award-winning actress with credits in film, theatre, voice-over, and commercial work. A passionate educator, she currently serves as a Drama and Theatre Arts teacher at San Juan North Secondary School. Renee holds a BFA in Performing Arts with a specialization in Acting from The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT APA).

Inspired by her father and mentors such as Michael Cherrie and Robert Peters, Renee has dedicated her career to using the arts as a tool for education, empowerment, and personal growth. She brings warmth, creativity, and a strong sense of purpose to her work with young people, finding joy in making learning engaging and meaningful. Through her guidance, Performance Town campers gain not only performance skills but confidence, discipline, and a love for storytelling.


Cost: $1,500 TTD (payment can be made in cash or via Bank Transfer)
