Description: Mosaic Performing Arts Academy is hosting our term 2 cycle of acting and music classes for kids and adults. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, our classes are designed to help you grow as a performer. Acting students will dive into character development, improvisation, and script work, learning how to bring authentic emotion to their performances. Music students can choose from singing/vocal training, piano, guitar, bass, and ukulele, building technique and confidence under the guidance of experienced instructors.


Duration: 22nd February, 2025 – 30th March, 2025

Days | Times: Each class is 1 hour long, that can be booked between the following periods

  • Saturdays 2:30PM – 7:30PM
  • Sundays: 8:00AM – 1:00PM

Facilitator: Chelsea Pooran

Honing her skills under the guidance of acting coach Greta Mendez and vocal coach Krystle Khan, Chelsea Pooran is an accomplished actress known for her dynamic range and captivating performances.

She gained notable recognition for her lead role in Killing Columbus, a film showcased at both the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival and the Toronto Multicultural Film Festival in 2021. Her versatility was further highlighted as Naiara in Terra and Naiara, which opened the red carpet premiere at the Film and Folklore Festival 2024.

Chelsea has also appeared in a variety of regional and international commercials, including campaigns for Digicel, KFC, Maggi Soup and Courts, with her standout performance being the lead role of Alana in Republic Bank Limited’s international campaign.


Facilitator: Mark “Mikhail” De Leon

Mark “Mikhail” De Leon is a versatile musician, producer, songwriter, session player, film composer and educator from Trinidad and Tobago, blending his Caribbean roots with diverse global influences. He scored the local short film Lagley and is currently working on the score for WAKEFOOD.

Mikhail leads his live music band – 5th Avenue, and plays bass for the Icon’s Tent calypso band. He has more than 6 years teaching experience and has more than a decade of practice and experience in his discipline of Music, starting with guitar at age 10.


Cost:

  • $500 TTD – Acting
  • $500 TTD – Voice/Vocal Training
  • $440 TTD – All other classes
