Job Title: Event Ushers
Employment Status: Project Based (one day)
Job Summary:
We’re looking for Event Ushers to assist at a one-day corporate event on Wednesday, 4th December 2024, 5:00PM – 9:00PM at the Government Campus Plaza Auditorium.
Event Ushers will work in tandem with senior event staff, and will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience for attendees and dignitaries at the event. They are responsible for guiding guests, maintaining order, and assisting with event logistics while upholding a polished and professional demeanor.
This position is perfect for individuals with excellent people skills who enjoy working in dynamic environments.
Key Duties:
The duties of the Event Usher shall include:
- Welcome and direct attendees to their seats.
- Assist with event flow and provide general information as needed.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
Dress Code:
If selected, you will be required to wear all-black attire:
- Men: Black dress shirt, black dress pants, and black dress shoes. A well-groomed appearance is mandatory.
- Women: Black shirt or blouse paired with black dress pants or a skirt. If a skirt is worn, it must be accompanied by black stockings. Closed-toe shoes are required and may be flat or have a slight heel. Women are encouraged to wear light, professional makeup.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate should:
- Be punctual, reliable, and well-organized.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have a well-groomed and presentable appearance.
- Have the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Prior experience in customer service, theatre or events will be an asset.
Compensation: $300 TTD
Frequency: Paid after the event
