Synopsis: This play-script is written in part fulfilment of the MPhil in Cultural Studies at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. Using mythic story form, it is a fictionalization of fieldwork journal reflections and oral narratives.

CASTING NOTE: M/F Actors and Dancers are being sought for ensemble roles in Simeon Moodoo’s Thesis Presentation for his MPhil in Cultural Studies. While the ensemble won’t have many scenes, or lines to learn, they are a vital part to the story telling. Some call and response singing may be involved.

While previous experience may be an asset, it is not necessary.

  • Performance: Tuesday 20th September, FULL DAY | Little Carib Theatre

Compensation: $250 TTD – $450 TTD (one time payment)

Additional Information: Refreshments would be provided on all days actors will be required. Meals would be provided for Sunday Rehearsals, Tech and Performance Days.

This production is an examination and is not open to the public. The audience members include examiners and supervisors. Further details on this project cannot be disclosed publicly.
