Job Summary:

The National Drama Association of Trinidad and Tobago is assisting one of it’s members – Simeon Moodoo in the staging of his thesis presentation for his MPhil in Cultural Studies. This production is an examination and is not open to the public. The audience members include examiners and supervisors. Further details on this project cannot be disclosed publicly. Any supplemental information required from/about NDATT can be provided accordingly.


Key Duties:

USHER(S)

  • Welcome and allow entry to guests based on list.
  • Ensure guests comply with the venue’s Covid-19 protocols.
  • Direct guests to their seats.
  • Ensure all guests leave the venue upon completion of the performance.

WARDROBE ASSISTANT(S)

  • Provide assistance to performers with the costumes before and during the run of the performance.

STAGE HAND(S)

  • Provide assistance to the Set Designer with the set, as well as the Stage Manager backstage during the performance.
  • Assist with offloading the set materials from the truck and loading-in the materials into the venue.
  • Assist with mounting and dismantling of the set.
  • Assist with loading-out the materials from the venue, onto the truck after the performance.
  • Assist backstage and onstage with the movement of props

NOTE: Volunteers will be provided with meals and refreshments. MUST wear ALL black. No prints, patterns, sleeveless, shorts, open toe shoes.


Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

No previous experience necessary. Appropriate training and guidance will be provided to volunteers
