Description: Learn how to develop and create your own ART on your own FILM! At Young Filmmakers Festival Camp 2022, campers will gain a holistic and artistic experience focused on film production, content creation, and how to be resourceful in accomplishing these goals. Tutors will guide classes in:
- Drama & Acting
- Film & Editing
- Set, Prop & Costume Design
Additional FUN Activities include: Arts & Craft, Talent Show, Treasure Hunt, Sports & Games and so much more…
Parents can feel comfortable knowing that the camp is housed on the secure Queen’s Hall compound; with 24 HOUR Security Personnel and CCTV surveillance.

In 2006 Trevon began acting classes at Necessary Arts (NA) under Penelope Spencer, Naima Thompson and Lydia Ledgerwood. It was through NA, that the association was made with the late Raymond Choo Kong of rck productions. As an apprentice to Raymond, he learned the ropes producing, and worked in a variety of departments. Fourteen years later, he became a producer and co-director of all plays to be staged by RCKP.
Producer, Director and Actor Trevon C Jugmohan began his career in the Arts with acting classes at Necessary Arts (NA), under Penelope Spencer, Naima Thompson and Lydia Ledgerwood. Through NA, he met Raymond Choo Kong and rck productions. Years later, he became a producer and co-director of all plays to be staged by RCKP. Starting as the apprentice to Raymond, he learned the ropes across a range of roles including production assistant to production manager, set, lights and costume design, prop master, stage hand, stage manager, box office attendant and manager, front of house manager, acting and producing.
In 2018 he Directed and Produced the Short Film, “Mightier dan de Sun”, written By Anthony Blackburn, starring Arnold ‘Pinnie’ Goindhan and Kala Neehall. In December 2020, “The Lion in Winter” was staged at Queen’s Hall, written by James Goldman, produced under First Instinct, and directed by Trevon, taped and streamed. Among the cast were; Cecilia Salazar, Michael Cherry and Kearn Samuel to name a few.
In 2021, Trevon was invited by the Trinidad Theatre Workshop to be an instructor for the Adult Acting Intensive – first pure teaching job. Two (2) classes successfully surmounted the Covid Lockdowns, and both graduated, December 2021. Later that year, he directed and produced, “Tom, Dick and Harry”, an epic farce, which opened and closed to full houses, and rave reviews. TD&H is set to be restaged in 2022.
Cost: $1,500 TTD (or $500 TTD per week)
