Title: Doubles with Slight Pepper

Genre: Drama

Synopsis: A coming of age story centered around a young street food vendor, who must decide if he will help save his estranged father from dying.

Character Breakdown:

  • PHILIP: Late 20’s to early 30’s male. A business professional that has worked hard from his humble upbringing. Works hard during the week and parties hard on weekends. He wants to help his friend Dhani change his life for the better.
  • LEONA: Late 20’s female. Smart, young professional, highly educated. She will take a liking to Philip.
  • FARAH: Late 20’s female. Energetic and a friend of Leona’s. A bit of an attitude. Just getting out of a bad relationship.
  • RUDY: Mid 20’s-30s’. Male. Clever and a smooth talker. Willing to take matters into his own hands to get what he wants.
  • JUDY: 60’s or 70’s female. Fun, gregarious, smart. Longtime friend of Sumintra that wants to help her and her son. Likes to gossip.
  • LINDA: 60’s or 70’s female. Feisty, a longtime friend of Sumintra that knows a lot about her community. Loves to play all-fours and share the latest gossip around town.
  • MALE CUSTOMER: Mid 20’s to 40’s. A regular guy. Jovial, easy-going and works hard all day at his job.

Duty of Care: To ensure the health and safety of the cast and crew, it is preferred that applicants (over the age of 18) are FULLY VACCINATED.

Actors cast will also be required to take a COVID-19 Antigen test (at the Producer’s Expense) prior to filming
