Title: Belmont 1993

Logline: After 35 years of service, SERGEANT BRADFORD is ready to throw in the towel, but after being forced to draw his fire arm on a 16 year old NIKOLAI, he must reconsider if he still has what it takes to protect and serve.

Character Breakdown:

  • BRADFORD – Male, late 40s – mid 50s, any ethnicity. Sergeant in the Police Service. Stern; Intimidating, but patient.
  • DOMINIC – Male, mid 30s – late 40s, any ethnicity. Nikolai’s father, Brash; Aggressive and lived a tough life. Not the best role model, but deep down cares for his son.
  • LISA – Female, 30s – 40s, any ethnicity. Nikolai’s mother. Cares for her son enough to stand up against her abusive husband.
  • NIKOLAI – Male, mid teens – early 20’s, any ethnicity. Nothing like his father, and feels powerless against him. Cares for his mother, but has become numb to the abuse at home.
  • GANGSTER #1 – Male, mid 30’s – late 40s, any ethnicity. Sly, the man with the plan
  • GANGSTER #2 – Male, mid 30’s – late 40’s, any ethnicity. Along for the ride
  • UNCLE – Male, late 50s – late 90s, any ethnicity. Convenience store owner. Too old for this shit
  • CORPORAL – Male, mid 30s – late 40s, any ethnicity. Drill master. Tries his best with the cadets.
  • CADETS – Male, 18 – late 20s, any ethnicity. (Principal – Background roles)
  • POLICE OFFICERS – M/F, late 20s – mid 40s. (Principal – Background roles)
