Employment Status: Part -Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part time delivery driver to join our team. While other candidates will be considered for this job, in light of the effect the global pandemic has had on the Performing Arts and entertainment sector, we wish to show our support by offering this vacancy to members of this community first.  Work hours are flexible and will also allow the incumbent to earn additional income between auditions, rehearsals, productions or other artistic pursuits.

Key Duties:

The Delivery Driver’s main duties will be to:

  • Transport delicate food items directly to clients in a safe and timely manner.
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that the orders are complete, the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied.
  • Accept payments for delivered items.
  • Maintain appropriate COVID-19 guidelines when interacting with customers
  • Provide excellent customer service

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be at least 18 y/o
  • Be preferably from the POS – Tunapuna or San Juan – Central Area
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Have a working vehicle with air condition
  • Have strong time management and customer service
  • Have a familiarity with the use of a smart phone and apps such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and Waze
  • Possess suitable communication skills
  • Be honest and trustworthy
  • Maintain kempt appearance and proper hygiene
  • Be ability to work on weekends and holidays

Compensation: Remuneration will be based on distance per order and number of deliveries.

Additional Benefits: The incumbent will also be provided with a gas and lunch allowance per full work day (6+ hours).
