Title: Girl be Heard 2021

Description: Girl Be Heard develops, amplifies, and celebrates the voices of young women and gender-nonconforming youth through socially conscious theatre-making. In 2021 Girl be Heard Trinidad and Tobago will showcase these voices and talents through two (2) of their main shows titled: “Unplugged” and “Staging the Revolution.”

Selected participants will engage in a series of performance development workshops guided by Teaching Artists Veronique Francois and Arielle John. There will be no financial obligations to any of the participants. Workshops will be held virtually on Friday afternoons from.3:00pm to 5:00pm.

Preparation: Interested persons are asked to submit ONE (1) CLOSE UP and ONE (1) FULL-LENGTH photo of themselves (No hats or sunglasses. You face must be clearly visible) ,  along with the following info:

• A two (2) minute video of yourself performing an original piece
