Thomas Talawa Prestø is the Artistic director and founder of Tabanka African & Caribbean Peoples Dance Ensemble. He is also the founder of the Talawa Technique, a fully codified movement system for African and Caribbean Dance. He is an initiate of both Ifa and Voudun and pulls from the deep cultural core of Africana movement technologies.
