Description: Caribbean School of Dancing believes dance is for everyone. These pop up classes are absolutely free to anyone wishing to attend. Attendees can get a feel for different styles of dance and if interested, register to our school to learn more about these styles of dance.

Bridgette Wilson is the Principal of Caribbean School of Dancing, Rehearsal Director of Metamorphosis Dance Company, and Founder bwilsonchoreo dance wear.
She is a graduate of the Master of Arts Choreography program at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, England (2017) and obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Dance from York University in Toronto, Canada (2009).
Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Bridgette trained at the Caribbean School of Dancing (CSD) before pursuing higher education in dance abroad. Upon completing her BFA, she returned to Trinidad and began teaching Ballet, Jazz and Tap dance at CSD while also being Rehearsal Director and Resident Choreographer of Metamorphosis Dance Company.
In Trinidad and Tobago, her work is seen at many national and cultural events including the highly praised Carnival celebrations throughout the country, as well as internationally in Suriname (2012), Costa Rica (2013) and Scotland (2014) as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Wilson is the first recipient of the COCO Choreographer’s Award (2012) at Trinidad and Tobago’s highlight dance event, COCO Dance Festival and was nominated for one of the country’s National Youth Awards. She holds an Associate in Modern Theatre Dance from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (2005) as well as a Certificate of Higher Education in Ballet Teaching from the Royal Academy of Dance (2016). She is a recipient of the 2016/17 Leverhulme Arts Scholarships for Choreography.
Terry Springer
Mr. Springer is an internationally acclaimed, dedicated and devoted dancer, teacher and choreographer with more than thirty years of experience. His versatility in many dance styles including folk dances of Trinidad and Tobago, Afro Caribbean, urban dances of Latin America, ballet, contemporary, modern and jazz is his greatest asset, and enables him to influence and reach his audiences and students around the world with fascinating results.
He migrated to Venezuela to dance with world renowned Coreoarte in 1991 gaining invaluable knowledge as a dancer, teacher, choreographer and Rehearsal Director. Due to his leadership skills, he was appointed Artistic Director of the company in 2014 and has toured the world with this company as well.
For many years, Terry has fostered dance at various schools, universities, communities, and rural areas, and has organized and conducted several socio-cultural programmes for the underprivileged.
Mr. Springer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Education and a Master’s Degree (with Honors) in Lingusistcs. He has contributed to the art form through teaching, performing, directing and creating dances. Mr. Springer returned to Trinidad and Tobago in 2017 and is currently a Dance Lecturer at the Academy of the Performing Arts (APA), University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), and also teaches at the Caribbean School of Dancing and at the Astor Johnson Repetory Dance Theatre.

Comfortable clothing is a must! Fitted leggings with jerseys, fitted tees or vests.
Ballet are shoes not required.
