Description: CAMP WILD SIDE is BACK! This time we’re going “Into The Forest”. Register your children for our three-week Vacation Arts Camp featuring Storytelling, Drama, Folk Dance, Music, Choral Speaking, Natural Art and Crafts and relevant Field Trips.

Each session has a hands on approach where campers are encouraged to use their imaginations and their innate abilities and get involved in all disciplines. Every year our campers produce their own final showcase which will be performed for a live audience at the end of camp.

Camp Director: Tyker Phillip

CAMP WILD SIDE DIRECTORTyker Phillip is currently Trinidad Theatre Workshop’s  School For The Arts Coordinator and facilitates their adult New Actors Workshop.

Tyker has taught the Children’s Theatre Workshop with TTW from 2012 to 2014 and has directed two major children’s productions; “Two Villages and a River” and “Order of The Day”.  She was the Camp Coordinator and Drama Facilitator for Camp iCaribbean hosted by theatre company, Teatro Journee from 2015 – 2017.

This is her second time Coordinating and directing Camp Wild Side at Trinidad Theatre Workshop, and is currently exploring West Indian storytelling as a tool for teaching and passing on oral traditions.
