For: Children (3 – 17 y/o)

Description: Creating a fun learning environment has been the pride of Performers Town. At our camp, your child will learn essential life skills; self-acceptance, self care, expression, confidence and conflict resolution, through acting and the performing arts. Campers will be exposed to elements of musical theatre and dance workshops ranging from folk to hip hop.

Our pan workshops will introduce campers to a basic level of reading sheet music, the history of steelpan, and practical exercises in playing the national instrument.

Come join us! Our trained drama in education teachers will give your child an experience to help their artistic development, and also furnish them with the tools become better people.


Duration: 8th July  –  2nd August 2019

Camp Director: Christy Maynard

Christy MaynardChristy Maynard is a University of Trinidad and Tobago graduate with a BFA in the Performing Arts. She currently works as the theatre arts teacher at St Ann’s Primary School.

She has tutored the toddlers and teenagers at Performance Town for four successful years, and has also tutored at Rosemand Performance Academy and Tranquil Government Primary School.

She believes that Acting is therapeutic. Utilizing her love for acting and psychology, Ms. Maynard uses theatre in education methods in her classroom daily, and has her sights set on being a drama therapist for children.


Cost: $500 TTD (+ $50 Reg. Fee)
