Title: The Caddy Club

Description: When 12-year-olds Keisha, Ryan, Akil and 9-year-old Jamal find themselves in trouble with a policeman in their hometown of Port of Spain, Trinidad, they’re sent to an after-school golf program to keep them out of trouble. On the golf course, they discover a secret hole with an invisible portal to a magical realm where mystical ancestors bestow unique crime fighting gifts to battle neighborhood gang lords. Their unique gifts come with an important condition however – they must keep them a secret.

Character Descriptions:

KEISHA: Female, 10-12 y/o. Wise beyond her years, a born leader. One of four members of the titular ensemble – The Caddy Club.

AKIL: Male, 10 – 12 y/o. Bookish and nervous. One of four members of the titular ensemble – The Caddy Club.

RYAN: Male, 10 -12 y/o. Raised in the streets, rebellious. One of four members of the titular ensemble – The Caddy Club.

JAMAL: Male, 7 – 10 y/o. Loving, playful fun-seeker. One of four members of the titular ensemble – The Caddy Club.

SHANAE: Male, 9 – 12 y/o. Spirited and funky ball of energy.

MARTINEAU:  Male, 60 – 75 y/o. Elderly former athlete, good-natured coach of the youth golf program.

OFFICER JOEL:  Male, 20’s. Friendly neighbourhood police officer.

CLEMENT: Male, 50 – 60 y/o  Mature, upper middle class golfer who despises The Caddy Club’s disruptive presence on the golf course.

INNIS:  Male, 50 – 60 y/o. Heavy set mature golfer.

KEISHA’S MOM:  Female 30 – 35  y/o. Overworked, loving nurse.

BUTTERS: Male, 16 – 21 y/o. Stern, intimidating young gang leader.

TREVON: Male, 14 – 16 y/o. Boyish with a tough exterior. Part of Butters’ gang.

TWO BROTHERS: Males, 16 – 21 y/o. Sibling yes men in Butters’ gang.

L’IL SIX: Males, 10 – 14 y/o;  Jase, Smallie, Redz, Boyie, Bosee, Fatman – among the youngest members of Butters’ street gang.
