Prerequisites: Applicants must have directed at least one (1) theatre production.
Description: This two (2) day, 4 session workshop will cover: Creating a premise, Concept & style, Finding texture in a piece, How to communicate with actors, Finding the physical body – Movement, Blocking & Topography and Integration of cultural forms.
Dates: Saturday 2nd + Sunday 3rd February 2019
Time: 9AM – 4PM Daily (with break for lunch)

Facilitator : Marvin Ishmael
Marvin Ishmael graduated from York University, Toronto where he received his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in directing. He obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Ryerson University, Toronto.
At present, he is a lecturer at the UTT APA where he teaches Script Analysis; Voice, Speech and Text; Acting, and Directing for theatre.
