Title: Aagman – The Arrival

Synopsis: Set in Trinidad 1900s, and based on a true story, Aagman is a film about the experiences of the indentured laborers from India, and how their legacy lives on in present-day Trinidad.

Sita is forced to adopt her nephew after her widowed sister in law was killed by her in-laws whilst trying to escape. Frantic and distraught, Sita escapes with her nephew on a  ship that is bound for Trinidad.

Character Breakdown:

British Officers: Male; Caucasian or Fair Skinned Indian, appears: 30 – 50 y/o

Indentured Laborers: Male and Female, of East Indian descent, appears 15 – 30 y/o
