Logline: Side Effects Included is a character-driven drama about three people who are caught up between music and the carousels of love.

Character Descriptions:

Leading Roles:

 Abbey – (25-28) 
African/Mixed female in her mid 20’s. Passionate about music. Although she struggles to make ends meet her heart is set on becoming a singer. She is easy-going, vibrant, charismatic and a hopeless romantic.

Derrik – (30-35)
Attractive African/Mixed male in his 30’s. Mysteriously charming, persuasive businessman and CEO of a record label. He loves his job and is consistently on the prowl for new talent with Sylvia (his wife).

Sylvia – (30-38)
Indian female in her 30’s. Strong built. Assertive, successful businesswoman and CEO of a record label. She exerts her power in the workplace and is feared by her employees.

Supporting Roles:

Kizzy – (25-28)
African female in her 20’s. Abbey’s funny, down-to-earth best friend. College student. She is playful yet wise and intelligent. A logical thinker who acts as Abbey’s personal advisor through the situations she faces.

Ron (38-45)
African male in his late 30’s to mid-40’s. Sound Engineer at the record label. He is an easy-going, laid back person who gets along with everyone and is also observant and analytical of his surroundings

Preparation: Interested persons are asked to submit ONE (1) CLOSE UP and ONE (1) FULL-LENGTH photo of themselves (No hats or sunglasses. You face must be clearly visible),  along with the following info
