Character Descriptions: 

SAMUEL – Male, early to late 30’s. Feels regret and remorse about the time he spent in prison. Still, he remainsly hopeful, and is deadset on starting a new life.

CELIA – Female, late 20’s – early 30s.  Loyal and o her brother Samuel. Although younger of the two, she has taken up the motherly role to help Samuel readjust to life after prison.

Title: The Hunting Ground (an excerpt)

Synopsis: SAMUEL, has just been released from prison after 10 years of incarceration. He returns home to the warm welcome and support of his sister CELIA, but to the disdain of his conservative mother and father. After a passively aggressive reuniting with his parents, he realises he cannot stay at home however, his sister tries to entice him to stay. She eventually recognises that her efforts are in vain and reluctantly helps him to pack and start his new life.
