Description:  Acting and improvisation classes available for all ages. Our teen and adult classes are geared towards building confidence, improving acting skills (voice and movement), characterization and team building.

 Facilitator:  Tafar Chia Lewis

Tafar Chia Lewis is the managing director of Teatro Journee and lead facilitator for the workshops. She is an actress and theatre maker with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of The West Indies. She also pursued Acting studies in Los Angeles at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio and served as a resident player of the National Theatre Arts Company of Trinidad and Tobago. She has acted in numerous stage and television productions. She has facilitated workshops in New York, rehabilitation facilities, schools, camps, communities and for various religious organizations in the Caribbean. This is her third time teaching at the Journee Acting Conservatory.

Registration Details: Registration opens 22nd April 2017 – 9th May 2017 | 9AM – 5PM

Additional Info: All levels are welcomed. Our classes for children are aimed towards building self esteem as participants learn fundamentals of acting and stage craft.  Individual attention is provided. One on one coaching will be available for advanced levels. We will work with your goals.  We are creating a safe space for you to believe, share and discover.

Classes will be held on Wednesdays, Fridays and  Saturdays
