Synopsis: Blackbird depicts the lives of women living in upper lower class communities in Trinidad and Tobago. It examines how these women cope with a socio-economic environment where shame, regrets and pain have become expected norms to overcome.

Female:
Lea – 27 years old; career driven.
Racheal – 25 years old; humble yet charming and lively.
Anikha – In her 40s; pious and protective mother.
Marcia – In her 30s; street dweller who has a beautiful voice and loves to sing. (You must sing as part of your audition for this role.)
Krystal — 22 years old; has a reputation for being promiscuous.

Male:
Kefin — In his early 20s; church’s youth group leader
