Title: The Lion King (International Productions)

Description: Disney Theatrical Productions is seeking strong male-identifying and female-identifying singers who move very well, to be in the ensemble and cover principal roles in The Lion King’s International productions.

They are also seeking strong male-identifying and female-identifying dancers with a modern / ballet dance background – late teens to early 30s. Some male dancers require strong acrobatic skills.

Singers & dancers of all cultural backgrounds are encouraged to attend this call.

Pre-Registration Requirements: Interested persons are asked to submit ONE (1) CLOSE UP and ONE (1) FULL-LENGTH photo of themselves (No hats, sunglasses, masks or filters. You face must be clearly visible) along with the following information.

• Name
• Height
• Contact number
• Email Address
• Talent Resume (if you have one)

Live Audition Preparation: 

• SINGERS: Be prepared to sing one brief R&B, gospel, pop or rock-and-roll song that best showcases your vocal range, and bring sheet music. A pianist will be provided. Please do not sing material from THE LION KING or standard Broadway theater music.
  
  You can NOT sing with a backing track (CD or MP3 instrumental accompaniment).

• DANCERS: You must be warmed up and ready by the start time. Bring dance clothes plus flat jazz shoes or bare feet. You may be asked to sing, so please bring a contemporary song that shows off your voice and range. Bring sheet music.

All performers are asked to bring their performer’s resume and 8″ x 10″ Headshot stapled together to the live auditions. [More info]

Additional Information: This casting call is seeking talent for the international stage productions of the Lion King. For avoidance of doubt, this production will NOT be staged in Trinidad and Tobago.

If selected to join the cast, the compensation offered will be according to the international union standards for the selected territory at the time of the offer, and will be paid in the currency of the territory in which you may be deployed.
